These long sticks are practical companions for anyone fancying a good walk or hike. The thumb stick is so called because it is held with the thumb resting in the natural "V" of a branch.

Blackthorn wood harvested by hand from UK lands.

This specimen is crafted from natural Blackthorn giving a very straight yet knobby texture- no two are alike. We obtain very few of this hard to find style. Order soon to secure delivery!

Comes fitted with a "combi" steel spike with rubber cover-tip for use in a variety of terrain.

• Note: Fissures, cracks and imperfections are characteristic of natural wood canes such as the blackthorn. Take care to store in a well-humidified area as well as drying the sticks carefully should they get wet. And like any cane, avoid dropping the stick and excess weight/leverage which may cause weakening or additional cracks.
